Almost (?) Mayor 2005 & 2013

THE STORY

A longshot that came out of nowhere to make (and decline) a runoff in 2005 and then a favorite in 2013 undone by a tabloid scandal, Weiner became a household name for his races for Mayor of the greatest city on earth. With campaigns that were heavy on ideas and laser focused on the middle class and those fighting to make it, Weiner did everything but win.
